- Ruth H.: THANK YOU. I agree with you. The Harry Potter stories has made the Beast's miracles more acceptable. I saw a few of those movies and they troubled me. I realized - when the kids were scared they reached for thier wands and did magic. What is the opposite of Harry Potter? When we are scared we need to reach for our BIBLES. Everything we do needs to be in light of scriptures. The more we study the scriptures the better we can deal with those who oppose our God. That is the basis for discernment. I told pentecostal friends - I would much rather have the gift of discernment than the gift of tongues. God bless you and thank you for putting Torah portion comments/observations on-line. -R.

- Deborah: I hope that you don't mind me commenting on your letter. I think that your tone could have been a little gentler because many don't realize the importance of words and meanings. With that said the intent way out weighs the tone of the letter. I think that it is wonderful that you would go out of your way to correct something that has a very disrespectful meaning to G-D. I didn't know that is what is meant and I definitely didn't realize that the spelling made the difference. You may taken the ability for Satan to have G-Ds followers insult him unintentionally.
