MISSION STATEMENT

Congregation Melech Yisrael (CMY) is part of the body of Messiah, the  habitation of G-d through the Spirit, with divine furnishings for proclaiming, prioritizing and personifying the message of the Kingdom and the mission of  our Master,Rabbi Yeshua The Messiah of Nazareth, G-d’s Divine Son. (Daniel 7:13;Psalm 110:1) Each believer among us, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the “whole body of believers” who are written in heaven and demonstrating on earth, both the fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit according to our distinctive testimony (Ephesians 1:22-23;2:22;4:16;Hebrews 12:23). We provide a loving Community of disciples of Yeshua who seek to live out a Messianic form of Judaism while remaining in our callings as Jews and non- Jews in unwavering and unswerving allegiance to Yeshua the Messiah.

VISION STATEMENT

 G-d’s purpose concerning man is to seek and to save that which is lost, to be worshipped by all humanity, and to build a whole body of believers in the image of His So. The priority reason-for-being of Congregation Melech Yisrael as part of that “whole body of believers” is to see the Messianic Kingdom permeate our world, and G-d’s  will be done, on earth as in heaven, in the consummation of all things and in the circumstances of our lives, therefore:

•  We as a congregation believing in and showing allegiance to Yeshua the Messiah, the Son of the living G-d, the Messiah of the Jewish people, the whole House of Israel, and Saviour of the world, have a foremost message of the coming Kingdom and mission of making disciples of and from all ethnicities. The repentance and salvation of the non-Yeshua believing Jewish people and also non-Jewish and non Yeshua believing people in our immediate community and throughout Canada and the world. We desire that the world will recognize Yeshua as the promised Messiah, and the only completely righteous One and the only hope for complete redemption.
• We desire to see Jewish people serve in their role as a holy nation, Kingdom of priests and light to the nations (whether they want to or not) and thereby testify to the existence of the One, true, living G-d and the truth of the Scriptures.
• We long to see all the nations resort to the King of the Jews, the Melech Yisrael, and submit to Him and His Torah as it pertains to them.
• We work to see Antisemitism, Supersessionism and Replacement theology be dismantled such that every plant, unplanted by the heavenly Father will be uprooted and every created thing shaken.
• We therefore wish to conduct our worship services in a manner in which non-Yeshua believing Jewish people, and non-Yeshua believing non-Jewish people who attend these services will feel at home and experience the love, knowledge and grace of our Master and Saviour, Yeshua the Messiah. We wish each worshipper will encounter the living G-d.
• We desire to instruct our Community of Yeshua disciples, in the Word of G-d and in the Jewish roots of Messiah like faith. We endeavour to accomplish this through the studying, practicing and teaching of all Scripture and Word validating Jewish traditions and relating them to the cultural and historical context of the Renewed Covenant. We administer Zichron Mashiach and Messianic immersions and other Jewish life cycle rituals.
• We look to adequately equip every believer for every good work and to foster the spiritual growth of disciples who have already accepted Messiah Yeshua into their Iives and have joined with our congregation and actively participate in our mission, vision and core values by their faithfulness working through love.
• We propose to train and raise up disciples who will continue to make disciples after Rabbi and Master Yeshua to proclaim, prioritize and personify His Kingdom message and reconcile His disciples with G-d’s prophetic promises to Israel.
• We desire to see the knowledge of the glory of the L-RD leaven the earth.
• We seek to provide age, children and adults, and category appropriate ministries to all our members and attendees who, of like precious faith by the righteousness of G-d and Saviour Yeshua, demonstrate by a good and willing mind, active participation to excel still more in all areas of growth. We expect to nurture Chavuarah networks (Torah Club small groups).
• In not being disobedient to the heavenly vision, we assume our share of responsibility and the privilege of propagating repentance for the forgiveness of sins, the gospel of His Kingdom, the grace of G-d, by all available means, to all peoples both at home and in foreign lands. We desire to plant new Messianic congregations and partner with existing ones as led by the Spirit.
• We want to experience a foretaste of the Messianic Era now even as righteousness, peace (within and rest on all sides), joy, blessings (spiritual and material), healing (soul and body), good health, demonic freedom and good success pervade our lives always and in all ways.

• We maintain high personal standards while excelling still more, without holding others in contempt.
• We prioritize and personify the weightier matters of the Torah without neglecting the rest.
• We shun evil, harmful, and unfruitful speech.
• We commit to daily reading and study of all Scripture, daily prayer, daily giving, daily encouraging, weekly fasting and weekly early attendance to Community gatherings.
• We agree to prayerfully, financially and physically support our Community of Yeshua disciples.
• We seek to embody and extend grace and truth to all peoples and especially our faith Community.
